In most cases, you can check in online via the website of the airline you are flying with from 48-24 hours before departure of the flight. You can electronically check in yourself and any other passengers on the same booking. Afterwards you will receive your boarding pass(es), which you can print out or save to your smartphone.
Online check-in is compulsory with these airlines:
- Ryanair and Laudamotion
- easyJet
- Wizz Air
- Air Baltic
We advise everyone to check in for their flight online. By checking in online, you avoid queues at the airport, and once you drop off your luggage you can proceed directly to security, customs control (non-Schengen) and the gate. Go to the website of the airline you are flying with and check in online.
What do you need for online check-in? We’ve created a handy checklist for you!
