If you would like to book a ticket for a child travelling alone, you will need required documents. For unaccompanied minors under 16 years of age , special assistance might be needed or is compulsory. Some airlines (Ryanair, among others) do not allow passengers under 16 travelling alone on board. Always check the conditions of the airline before you book a  ticket for a minor travelling alone.

If you would like to book unaccompanied minor service and you haven’t purchased special services, you will have to pay € 39,90 (or the equivalent in your local currency) administration fee per person. The administration fee is always in addition to the costs charged by the airline for the unaccompanied minor service.
